Bill Evans [US I]
Pianist Bill Evans, niet te verwarren met de gelijknamige saxofonist, debuteerde in de groep van Tony Scott in 1956. Hij raakte bekend door zijn bijdragen aan de jazzklassieker Kind Of Blue van Miles Davis uit 1959. Daarna werkte hij vooral met eigen trio's, waaronder het befaamde trio met drummer Paul Motian en bassist Scott LaFaro.
